What is the safest means of transportation on the planet? I bet hardly anyone would say Airplanes and yet how many times have you heard about the planes crashing. There are literally hundreds of thousands of flights that occur every day and maybe once a year you hear a plane crashed and cases of death by accident is even less.
Much of this is down to hard work and dedication of the drivers who spend hours in flight simulators for training to improve their style and professionalism in the air. Having had the privilege of hanging out with several drivers over the years, I know the levels of hard work and dedication they have to be at the top of their game.
Several times a year, a pilot will be put through a program of flight training that involve a number of written test, then for several hours in a simulator. During these tests simulator agreed issues will be discussed to see how the drivers handle themselves under pressure. For example, an engine may fail or they may be forced to make an emergency landing due to a systems failure and thank you for the tremendous technological advances have been made in the electronic simulator training video industry Air Transport take much resemblance to real life that they could be back in the eighties when he was just dots and lines on a screen.
It makes you feel safer flying knowing that the driver must pass regular inspections in any other sector that has to happen, for example, you will not get a train driver or a driver re – bus to take their test every year just to prove they are fit to drive.
Over the last twenty-four months we have seen evidence of how training aircraft can help save lives. When an aircraft has experienced problems on New York flight, the pilot has been fully trained and able to bring the plane down in a safe and controlled, to the river, where all passengers escaped unharmed.
It was reduced to a series of meetings plane repetitive and comprehensive training that there were no deaths on this day. All passengers got off the plane thanked staff and especially the driver for his calm and reassuring when the aircraft got into trouble. Becoming a pilot can be a difficult industry to get into a rewarding, but all the same, although it may not be the type of job if you do not like training.
